Alberto is painted in mauve and cranberry red, a portrait of fierce independence. Broad, instinctive brushstrokes carry energy, while compact layers add density and weight. Overpainting in shifting outlines gives Alberto definition without confinement, allowing presence to feel both strong and fluid. Occasional impulsive marks bring vibrancy and spontaneity. Some parts of the canvas even remain unpainted, such as Alberto's eye, adding further ambiguity around possible themes of unfinished identity.

The sides remain raw, exposing the immediacy of creation. Alberto is commanding yet experimental: a portrait of standing apart.
